Description
Collection relating to Lieutenant Leslie William Sutherland, MC, DCM, 1 Squadron Australian Flying Corps (1 Sqn AFC), First World War. Collection comprises an undated letter written by Sutherland to his fiance; notes on cricket games played at Suvla Plains in 1915 and two score sheets of a cricket game played between the 1 Australian Light Horse Brigade and 3 Australian Light Horse Brigade, near No. 3 Outpost, North Anzac, 15 October 1915 and British propaganda leaflets dropped over Turkish lines.
