Description
Collection relating to the First World War service of 190 Private Dennis Gurney Broad, Australian Naval and Military Expeditionary Force (AN&MEF). Collection consists of two letters written by Pte Broad to his mother. They were written from Rabaul and are dated 18 September and 4 October 1914 respectively. He comments about his experience with the AN&MEF and the war in general, including his belief that the war would be over within a few months.
