Crawford, Andrew (Major, b.1887 - d.1974)
Description
Collection related to Major Andrew Crawford, 8th Light Horse Regiment, First World War. Collection consists of four small pocket diaries. Three diaries dated 1916, 1917 and 1918 were kept by Crawford as personal diaries, the fourth diary dated 1918 seems to have been kept by him on behalf of C Squadron, 8th Light Horse Regiment. The diaries contain brief daily entries describing conditions and duties in the Middle East.
