Collection relating to the First World War service of 838 Private Emlyn Britton Dickson, 19th Battalion, 1915-1918.
Wallet 1 of 1 - Collection contains one hardcover sketch book filled with watercolour sketches from Private Dickson's service during the First World War. The sketches include: Sydney, 1915; HMAT 'Ceramic'; Heliopolis; Anzac Cove; the 19th Battalion crossing a field at Gallipoli, 22 August 1915; ruins at Ypres; tanks at Bullecourt, May 1917; a ration party at Pozieres, August 1916; as well as more light-hearted cartoons. The sketch book closes with a list of servicemen and honours, illustrated with flowers and wreaths.
