An informal portrait of Lieutenant Victor Ambrose Ketterer MC, 16th Infantry Battalion, 4th Brigade, who returned to Australia on 21 December 1918. He originally served with the service number 1490 before his promotion to Lieutenant. Ketterer died of war related causes on 31 July 1936.
