Description
German dead in their front line during the Battle of Fleurbaix, which took place on 19 July 1916 and 20 July 1916. This image is one of a sequence taken by an unknown German officer. They were given to Captain C Mills 31st Battalion AIF, after the Armistice in 1918. A wounded Captain Mills had been captured by the Germans during the battle.
