Off Tasmanian coast
Depicts the ocean off the Tasmanian coast, with a mountainous coastline and cloud-filled sky. The inscription below the sketch describes the weather as being "awful round the West Coast". The artist also indicates that due to the inclement weather, the troopship didn't arrive in Hobart until Saturday evening, having set sail for Tasmania on Wednesday 23 September.
