Benson sketch depicts "A six pdr Hotchkiss salvaged from a British Tank mounted on a [illeg.] sleeper and French farm waggon[sic] wheel, so that it could be hooked on to a timber waggon[sic] and travelled - mountings designed and manufactured by the 7 & 8th French Mortar Batteries."
