Camp scene
Description
Depicts a camp sketch with tents and mess equipment. Soldiers participate in a variety of activities. Lambert was in the Middle East from 13 January 918 to June 1918 and with C.E.W. Bean on Historical Mission to Gallipoli from Feb to March 1919. He then revisited Palestine. During the 1920s heworked on AWM commissions. This work was possibly drawn at Moascar, north Egypt, where Lambert was located in July 1919.
