Saint Cecilia
Description
Head of Saint Cecilia, the Patront Saint of Music. The work was taken from the ruins of Amiens Cathedral. It was found by Captain James Florance and carried by him throughout 1914. The surface of the face has been sanded smooth and had had a thin layer of plaster applied, with the features of the face then painted on.
