Men load a cart in the background, four trees in the mid ground and stacks of shells, crates and barrels are lined up in stacks along the front of the composition. Verso: Depicts a tent tied at either end to tree trunks. Four men , two in Australian army uniform enjoy a drink while seated at a makeshift table and chairs made from found objects.
