Description
Depicts a drawing of a dugout entrance, a piece of hession hangs to the right of the entrance. In the foreground on a chair are some cups and a panikin. A church can be seen in the background of the drawing. Hawkins was stationed at Ypres during July 1915 before his evacuation from the front after he was seriously wounded at Gommecourt.
