Research boat
Description
This boat was designed and built by its owner, R.B Roberts, in the backyard of his home. Its construction has been sponsored by the Ministry of Munitions and assisted by the Army Inventions Directorate. The design features are mainly, a deep cutting section, forward and a non-drag stern. It is 20' long, weighs less than one ton and is capable of an efficient speed range of 5-30 mph.
