Description

Launching by means of a mobile crane, a vessel built by Slazenger's, on the outbreak of war, converted from a tennis racquet makers to the builders of small ships and the craft they built had to be transported by road from their factory in Alexandria to the water. Rozelle Bay, Parramatta River, Sydney. Wartime advertising slogan ' Buy Bonds' is visible painted along the lower half of the vessels hull.
