Description

Prisms for guns a drawing from the series 'Commonwealth Solar Observatory, Mount Stromlo, Canberra'. Prisms were used for binoculars and periscopes. Stromlo's Optical Lens Department produced the prisms. The hands are those of Arthur Powell, an Australian employed by the Observatory at Mount Stromlo,supplied the work-worn hands.
