Between tent rows
Description
A characteristic scene in local camps. Australian tents are supported by rough posts to which cross pieces have been tied. The tents are attached to this frame work instead of to pegs in the ground, and have all been raised higher by putting the poles on oil drums to allow the air to circulate. Beyond the tree is the area where films are screened seveal times a week. A small portion of the 'projection room', a tent fly on a high framework, is visible.
