Description

An interesting collection of signs and signals outside Headquarters, 7th Australian Infantry Brigade. The Brigade sign is in the immediate foreground and the koala denotes 3rd Australian Division. On the tree, the orange triangle denotes Brigade, for recognition from the sea. On the ground, the white disc with black outline serves the same purpose of recognition from the air, the position of the missing segment indicates the direction of the wind. The signaller makes the letter 'K' as he semaphores to a barge. The small red signs indicate:- Legal Officer, Staff Captain Learner, Staff Captain Education Officer, Amenities Officer, Hygiene Officer, Brigade Army Service Corps Officer, Orderly Room, Dental Post and Intelligence Officer. There are office buildings in the background.
