Beaufort Navigator (of No.100 Squadron, RAAF)
Description
This is a portrait of a pilot who was an expert in navigating using the Beaufort aircraft. Seven hundred of these aircraft were produced for the Royal Australian Air Force in the Second World War. The pilot is seated in his pilot's seat and some of the controls are visible.
