DescriptionA hospital designed to provide definite treatment close to the front. The personnel have been taken from various organised hospitals of the U. S Medical Corps. The surgeon here is exploring a gunshot wound suffered by an Australian infantryman during the battle for Buna. The assistant surgeon is swabbing the wound. The orderly sergeant is giving the anaethesia and holding a torch on the abdominal operation.
