Description
Portrait of Major General Edmund Francis Herring KCMG, KBE, CBE, DSO, MC, ED, the General commanding the 6th Division, 2nd Australian Imperial Force with snow-covered mountains in background. There is an earlier version of this painting, 'Portrait of General Herring' [ART23428], however Dargie considered this to be the better portrait of the two.
