Description
Australian troops are walking along the cliff line, with town of Bardia in the background. Dargie recalled, "Situated on towering cliffs with the blue Mediterranean as a background, this town [Bardia] though shattered by war, is still one of the loveliest in Libya". This work was painted only a matter of weeks after the Australian forces had retaken it from the enemy.
