Weekend Hostel for Servicewomen (Black Rock)
Description
This hostel was loaned by the Country Women's Association of Victoria for the duration of the war. For the first three years evacuees from Singapore
and Hong Kong (eleven mothers and twenty children) were in residence, and then later used exclusively by girls of the Services and the Land Army, in conjunction with the Y.M.C.A, Black Rock, Victoria.
