Description
Early mornings at extreme temperatures produce interesting results. Warm air from the warmed buildings causes steam on contract with the cold air and the rising sun tints this to a rosy pink, with the sky and snow-covered landscape a cold grey green. The scene is at 9:00am at a Canadian Air Station typical of the many at which personnel of the Royal Australian Air Force are receiving their flying training under the Empire Air Training Scheme,Saskatchewan, Canada.
