Camp gate, LHQ Signals, Albert Park
Description
The gloom of English trees, silhoettes, the centry and those around the M.T. park. The CO's car is drawn up on the left. On the right is the canteen staffed by an AWAS, who was friendly with a sergeant of the camp who was accidentally killed whilst on leave. While the artist was working on this picture the AWAS saw the artist putting in a figure and asked that it represent the sergeant who was killed.
