15 RSU (RAAF) repairing crashed Stinson hospital plane in jungle clearing near mouth of Auro River
Description
This work was created when Dargie spent 16 days in December 1942 with the 15 Repair and Salvage Unit (RSU), Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF). The natives are from a near-by village are inefficient helpers. Their honesty was also questionable in this case, as, overnight, various pieces of equipment of the plane were stolen.
