Patrol of 9th Battalion CMF dispersing in jungle in peninsula north of Milne Bay
Description
Dargie noted, "This patrol provided local defence whilst the Japanese dump was destroyed near the shore. This defence was necessary as, although the main body of Japs had been defeated and dispersed, stray parties of Japanese were still roaming around the area".
