Sea-front at Eleusis
Description
One of the concentration areas for the embarkation of troops of the Anzac Corps, which included the 6th Australian Division, in the withdrawal from Greece. No actual embarkation took place here. Later, German paratroops and glider-borne troops left the airfield here for the invasion of Crete.
