DescriptionSketched at the town of Iraklion, also known as Heraklion. Showing the positions of the 14th (British) Infantry Brigade during the attack on the airfield by German parachutists and glider-borne troops in May 1941. The 2/4th Australian Infantry Battalion was attached to this Brigade and held positions in the distance near two hills similar shape and which they nicknamed "The Charlie".
