Knock-off time - Ball Bearing Factory, Echuca Vic
Description
A watercolour drawing depicting employees leaving the Government Factory at knock off time. At this factory ball-bearings and ball-races for many vital war needs are finished, rigidly checked, inspected and dispatched. To avoid duplication of plant, the forgings of races and the original stampings of the balls are done at the Ordnance Factory, Bendigo and sent to Echuca for precision finishing.
