Changi footwear industry: making soles
Description
Series of drawings showing steps in manufacture of footwear for prisoners of war from powdering and mixing ingredients to pouring into moulds. The prisoners in Changi established a workshop within the camp to produce most items, such as shoes, artificial limbs, cooking equipment, needed by the men.
