Description
Another wing of Medical 2nd Discharge Station, Caulfield Racecourse, Melbourne. In 1940, the Army used Caulfield Racecourse as a recruiting depot and barracks, but its primary function was as a 'clearing house' for recruits who were put through a medical examination before being passed to serve their country.
