Planes dropping supplies
Description
Planes dropping supplies to the forward Company at Aiyo, near Bogadjim. This was the only occasion on which supplies were dropped in that operation. Personnel of 57/60th Australian Infantry Battalion as well as natives had to carry all other supplies on foot along a 55 mile Line of Communication, New Guinea.
