Cleaning weapons
Description
On the Japanese road near Daumoina, New Guinea, members of the platoon command by Lieutenant V Passlow, MC, 57/60th Australian Infantry Battalion, clean their weapons after returning from a 5 -day patrol. The feet of the soldier on the left were so painful that he could not wear boots.
