Description
Members of 7 Platoon, "A" Company, 2/33rd Australian Infantry Battalion man a 2" mortar on Acid Feature, Balikpapan. The capture of Acid Feature marked the conclusion of the main offensive of 25th Australian Infantry Brigade against the Japanese force astride Milford Highway, since it was outside the perimeter laid down in the planning of operation "OBOE TWO", Balikpapan.
