Description
QX29694 Private V McClanaghan, 2/31st Australian Infantry Battalion; sitting in chair at YMCA refreshment stall. This sketch was made during the operation 'OBOE TWO', the assault on Balikpapan, at a forward detachment of the YMCA which was supplying refreshments to the troops from a stall established in a shell splintered house outside which our men had placed the sign 'Nippon Inn'.
