B17 being fuelled for raid on Rabaul
Description
A US Boeing B17 Flying Fortress is shown at 7 mile drome being fuelled for a raid on Rabaul. Located to the north of Port Moresby, seven miles from town, this aerodrome was first used by the Royal Australian Air Force 75th Squadron in the defense of Port Moresby in 1942.
