Description

A Vultee Vengance dive bomber, of No 24 Squadron, RAAF, based at Merauke. The Vultee A-31 Vengeance was an American dive-bomber of the Second World War built by Vultee Aircraft. The Vengeance was not extensively used in combat, however it served with the RAF and RAAF in Burma and Southeast asia.
