At sea off Cape York on "Manoora"; verso: Air raid shelter for HQ signals unit
Description
Two soldiers on board HMAS "Manoora" are shown resting in one of the cabins as the vessel sails at sea off Cape York. One soldier is lying on the floor reading a book, the other is sitting on a bunk bed, and personal belongings are scattered around them.
verso: A view of the air raid shelter for the Signals Unit Headquarters is depicted under a cover of trees at Moresby, New Guinea. A truck beneath a camouflage net can be seen on the hill.
