Checking for excess rice
Description
A group of armed Australian soldiers, watched by a Vietnamese woman and two children at right, stand in shadow beneath the thatched roof of house as they check for excess rice. The troops conducted searches of Vietnamese dwellings and belongings to locate any excess rice or other items that could be used to assist the Viet Cong.
