Description
Depicts a soldier of the AIF who is being thrown off a thoroughbred horse. It captures the moment before the man hits the ground. There are bushes in the foreground, and a wide country vista in the background.
The 17th FC, which was the company the artist was in, was composed of men from other units of engineers, and had the nickname "The Fragments of France".
