Description
Various Ragtime sketches. Two stretcher bearers carry a soldier on the left, while a self portrait of the artist can be seen on the right, Vasco sitting up in bed sketching. In the lower left corner a kanagroo carrying a rirfle can be seen. Front cover to the sketches `Ragtime sketches round the 47th General Hospital, France.'
This drawing is attributed to Louis Vasco - the artist's given name was Vasco Loureiro but he enlisted as Louis Vasco and has signed his name 'Vasco', 'Spr Vasco'.
