Sketch of Weary Dunlop. Verification of the date: John Frith recalled making the crayon caricature of Weary in August 1934. The event was the homecoming of the Australian Rugby team after defeating the All Blacks. The celebrations were held at the Wentworth Hotel in Sydney in August 1934.
