[Gallipoli landscape]
Description
An arid Gallipoli landscape with hills and cliffs and bushes scraped into the paint layer. The brown hues of the landscape mute the feel of the work and turn the landscape of Gallipoli into a murky twilight which conveys the sense of despair, loss of life and horrors inflicted in this landscape.
