[Gallipoli landscape]
Description
An abstract sketchy landscape with horizontal and diagonal strokes of blue, red and dark brown. The landscape is overlaid with blobs of dark blue, white, and dark brown, suggestive of devastation. The artist stated in an interview (13 April 1978) that landscapes like this one relate to devastation following battle.
