[Gallipoli landscape]
Description
A semi abstract sketchy landscape with pale blue and green sky with vertical strokes stretching upwards. The landscape is overlaid with blobs of dark blue, white, and dark brown, suggestive of devastation. The artist stated in an interview (13 April 1978) that landscapes like this one relate to devastation following battle.
