[Gallipoli figures in battle]
Description
Two naked Gallipoli figures in combat, one immersed in sea water. The artist stated (interview 13 April 1978) that these figures partly represented classical figures wrestling giants, e.g. Hercules and Antaeus, or Homeric heroes in battle.
