[Gallipoli figures in battle]
Description
Two Gallipoli figures in combat, partly immersed in sea water. The artist stated (interview 13 April 1978) that these figures partly represented classical figures wrestling giants, e.g. Hercules and Antaeus, or Homeric heroes in battle.
