Sleeping Birdy: the morning after the night before
Figure of a sleeping sailor, ABATA (Able Seaman Aviation Technician Airframe) McNamara sits slumped over after four days leave in Dubai. Peter Churcher recalled, "The ship sets off after four days leave in Dubai. Most of the guys have 'lived it up' on their last night of freedom, ignoring the fact that they start the next day, business as usual, 6.30am. The effects have made themselves known the next day around the ship".
