Description
A man is depicted holding a gun to the head of another man whose hands are fastened behind his back. This print is based on a famous Vietnam War photograph by Eddie Adams. The photograph depicts Nguyen Ngoc Loan, South Vietnam's national police chief, as he executes Viet Cong member Nguyen Van Lem on 1 February 1968. This Associated Press photograph, 'General Nguyen Ngoc Loan executing a Viet Cong prisoner in Saigon', won a 1969 Pulitzer prize for the photographer Eddie Adams.
