Description
Australian First World War poster issued by the Government to promote a War Savings Campaign. The poster features a depiction of a Union Jack flag to the left set against a pale blue and yellow background. The text and message runs top to bottom next to the flag. As in other allied countries, subscription to a war bonds scheme is presented as the patriotic duty of its civilian population towards the war effort.
